After a weekend full of soccer, football, and the sniffles, I am back on the grind. Unfortunately, I didn't make the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure due to this head cold that wants to hang around. I did watch a little of it on T.V. while I was in bed. It was great to see all of the participants and listen to their stories. My aunt Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer at 32. After a 7 year battle, she passed away at 39. She was a beautiful woman inside and out. She adored her husband and two young sons. She kept her struggle a secret and I never quite understood why. I guess she didn't want us to worry. I always admired her strength and determination to be a great mom.
Things may not be where you want them to be, but be thankful for another day to get it right. If there is something that you want to do, just step out and do it. All we have is today!!!!!!
Be YOU, Be GREAT
