Make it Happen Monday: Post Reunion

What a long but fabulous weekend! Our Family Reunion was a huge success. I was so happy to see my family from Maryland, Atlanta and the Palm Beaches. We kicked things off with a Luau. There was food, drinks, and cake for days. No really, there is still food and cake in my refrigerator. On Friday, we went to Dolphin mall for an afternoon of fun. Everyone ate at Dave and Busters and some went to the movies while those of us with kids stayed and played video games. Saturday was the busiest day for me. About 40 members of the family hopped on a very luxurious tour bus and drove around Miami. The kids made up songs and played all day long. Our first stop was at Midtown where we had to cool off with "Feverish Pops". Next we rode through South Beach and enjoyed the many sights lol. Bayside was up next with lots of music, kiddie rides and Fat Tuesdays! We ended the trip at my mom's favorite stop Monty's. My cousins got a chance to taste cracked conch and loved it. My night did not stop there, the hubby and I had to get dressed for Nikki's 40th Birthday Bash. We danced to old school jamz and reggae. The party didn't stop until 2 a.m.! I was exhausted but I survived! Now it is back on the grind. Gotta burn off these calories I absorbed over the weekend.
