Road Trip

Our summer vacation did not start the way we planned. We made it to Orlando yesterday around 4 p.m. Around 8 p.m. My hubby is rushed to the ER in an ambulance. It was like a bad dream. The worse part was the kids watching him on a stretcher. I let them finish their ice cream and drove twenty minutes to a friend's house. Thank God for girlfriends. One thing I learned in the baseball world is keep in touch with ladies you meet a long the way. You never know when you will end up in the same town and need help. My girl kept me and the kids busy until the hubby was done being evaluated. Around midnight we headed back to the hotel and went to bed. Praying for a better remainder of the week.
